Autism Walk Northland

About the Walk

In 2007, co-founders Kim Seguin and Dena Walczynski-Filipovich met through a common goal...to bring more awareness of Autism to their community. They started the walk to do just that, and to raise money to donate directly to the ASD programs of local schools.

The first walk raised $5,000, and has grown steadily since. The 2010 walk raised $26,000.00, and we're hoping to raise even more money with each walk. Every team that participates in the walk can designate which schools their funds should be donated to. Undesignated funds are divided equally amongst the schools.

How You Can Help

We love our volunteers and sponsors...without them, the walk would never be able to accomplish as much as we do! We're so grateful to everyone for their help, and can never thank them enough.

We are always looking for volunteers, sponsors, and donations for our silent auction. You can find links to each at the top of our page. Just fill out the appropriate form, and one of us will follow up with you as quickly as possible.
