Team Demetri
Demetri
has very recently been diagnosed with high-functioning Asperger's. As a
mom and an educator, I always knew there was something extra special
about Demetri!
Demetri loves fishing and watching all kinds of sports. He really loves watching hockey and baseball. Ask him anything you want to know about types of fish, rules for hockey, etc, and he will talk your ear off! He plays Little League baseball in the spring and soccer during the late summer/fall.
Demetri will be in 3rd grade at Raleigh Edison Charter School. Demetri's favorite subject in school is math. He has an amazing mathematical brain!
Currently Demetri spends 45 minutes/2 days a week with a wonderful Occupational Therapist working towards various goals related to Sensory Processing Disorder and other gross motor skills. He also visits with a therapist once a week for an hour.
