Autism Walk Northland

Team Wilde

This year will be Team Wilde's first time participating in the Autism Walk Northland. We are excited to be a part of the autism community and meeting other parents.

Since her pediatrician's first utterances of needing an evaluation in November 2009 to her eventual diagnosis a few days before her third birthday in June 2010 and now approaching her first year of general education classes,  we have chosen to approach her ASD as a family. Her mom, dad, and sister are her greatest supporters and biggests fans. We are very proud of all she has achieved and celebrate her seemingly endless potential.  In the spirit of keeping her busy she enjoys playing soccer during the summer with her Arrowhead Little Net Busters team and taking gymnastics at Twin Ports Gymnastics when she isn't playing with her wonderful, neighborhood friends.

This year we are walking to raise money for the Duluth Scottish Rite. We truly appreciate their guidance and services this past year and hope to be able to help to provide another family with such positive experiences.
